Oh, do you remember that part in either High School or College World History #2 where we all learned about when kawaii-desu furry plane girls fought aliens during World War II? Yeah, those were the times....

@CoolAnimeHustler Wow, you got the reference! Which reminds me, I have to watch the entirety of the Strike Witches franchise someday....
-
Well, by the way, the franchise honestly sounds like something that the YouTuber Saberspark would review.
-
And I also wish there was more characters from it made in MUGEN.....
-
It really says something when a live-action movie based on one of the spin-off games (Pokemon: Detective Pikachu) has more effort put into it than the latest duo of mainline games (Pokemon Sword and Shield)......

Moe hatedom: "Moe isn't, can never be, and never will be manly."
Shana (the main protagonist of Shakugan no Shana) and Nanoha Takamachi (the main protagonist of the Lyrical Nanoha franchise): "Aren't we a joke to you?"

nearly thought you were talking about the tavern owner from the simpsons for a second there :p
also with how gacha games have seen their popularity skyrocket in the past few years and a good amount of them is packed full of "cute girls that kick ass" as their main selling point, i can safely say that that "hatedom" is merely but a relic of the ancient days at this point.

We need Lt. Vixen and Anime Marx to fight. Throw G.I. Joe and Arabic Mickey in there too.
-
@The Auditor I think Strike Witches, Brave Witches, and Battle Tendency (Part 2 of JJBA) take place during World War II. And I believe the characters of Kantai Collection are loosely based on actual ships from that war if I'm not mistaken.
-
@GaulbettiLet me guess. Arabic Mickey is a reference to that Mickey rip-off (I forgot his name) from the infamous Palestinian antisemitic propaganda kids' show Tomorrow's Pioneers, right?

Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS walked so that Strike Witches and Symphogear could run, just saying.

Sword Art Online
More like Sucky Art Unoriginal, am I right?
No, seriously, SAO is just a vastly inferior rip-off of Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over.
Sort-of-Related Fun Fact: I still own Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over on DVD to this very day.

Whoever invented Crab Rangoons must've been a genius....Same goes for whoever invented Pop Tarts.......

Has anybody noticed that there's so many Evangelion rip-offs? Too many in fact. Fafner, RahXephon, Eureka Seven, Xenosaga, Xenogears, De:Vadasy, Digimon Tamers, DARLING in the Franxx......

Theory: Raising Heart was secretly the 7th Infinity Stone all along and the real reason why Yuuno let Nanoha have it was so that it would've been safe from the clutches of Thanos.

Is it just me or am I the only one who thinks that Hayate Yagami, Reinforce, and Reinforce Zwei are sort of expys of Jotaro Kujo and his [STAND] [Star Platinum] respectively?
-
Update: Just finished watching Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation and it was freaking amazing. Definitely the best of the Nanoha movies so far and the best thing to ever come out of the franchise since StrikerS. It's so awesome that it has become my #1 favorite animated movie of all time and one of my favorite movies in general of all time.
-
Now watching Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Detonation for the very first time as I haven't seen it yet.
-
Currently rewatching Nanoha Reflection and when I am done with it, I will finally watch Detonation for the first time
-
If Reinforce Zwei is so good, then why isn't there a Reinforce Drei?
-
Random Fun Fact of the Day: Did you know that Tenten and Hinata from Naruto share the same Japanese voice actresses with Nanoha Takamachi and Fate Testarossa (Harlaown) respectively?

Kingdom Hearts is basically Hot Topic: the Game.
Generic anime OCs, check.
Shoehorned-in Disney characters, check.
An edgy, angsty, and (quite) pretentious plot, check.

Happy 15th anniversary to the Lyrical Nanoha franchise!
The first episode of the original Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha premiered on October 1st, 2004 in Japan, 15 years ago today!

If you had a Mad Catz controller (that wasn't one of their fight sticks with Sanwa) that never broke within a week/month/year or two, then you must've been the luckiest person in existence.

A part of me hopes that Cranberry Christmas, the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood movie, Rapsittie Street Kids: A Bunny's Tale, the Ocean Group's possible lost, unreleased English dub of Shakugan no Shana II, and Geneon's possible lost, unreleased English dub of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS are in Area 51 somewhere.....
