Although I've finished the next issue of the FAWN, I'm unable to release it due to, what I'm guessing is a bug, when it comes to moving posts, the section under news just loads non-stop.

After a series of testing, it looks like we've FINALLY killed the dupe post bug for good. Now we just wait for the final test this Saturday to see if our efforts truly were successful. @RobotMonkeyHæd

Bug update:  After too many failed attempts to fix the issue with the help of tech support, I've finally hired a professional to help out.  Sooo it shouldn't be long now.  

And just a heads up, In the next couple days there may be minor temporary issues while the thing gets worked out, but after that we should finally be in the clear.

I see MFFA has updated the icons on the home menu. Very nice stuff there.

Bluehost's tech support is currently investigating the bug.  They may manually trigger the bug, so even tho it's not Saturday, issues may occur.  If they do, they will be resolved shortly afterwords.

I'm afraid we'll have to wait until next week for a new issue of the FAWN, we celebrated dad's and my older brother's birthday today, and I'm the type of person who tries to always put family first, if you know what I mean.
 
I have however been looking over older issues of the FAWN, mainly just to study the layout and just overall use them as a guide for creating new ones. I've changed my mind about MMV's 5th birthday in the FAWN, instead I'll post those in the off site release section, and keep it simple with weekly releases, MMV's birthday stretches all the way back to the end of May and ends in July,  and I think I'll be biting off more then I can chew if I tried to make an issue that reaches from May to August. So let's keep it simple :)
 
I must confess that August has been a rather rough month for me, don't worry my new position has nothing to do with it, RMH has made it clear that the FAWN is meant for one thing only: fun, it's mainly just stress from my day job and facing my own personal demons, I'm sure we've all been their before. Don't worry, I'm not saying any of this to scare you, and I'm doing way better right now as of this status update. Thank you, and I'll see you all soon.

I'm honored to be a part of the news staff here. I'll do my best, and hope I don't disappoint :) 

Fingers crossed that the new forum upgrade takes care of the multi-post bug.

If not, next weeks attempt will be disabling the custom css file.  If that doesn't work there are a few other possibilities planned, which we'll try one at a time week by week.  If none of them end up working, we might try resorting to a band-aid using flood control with an extremely low time minimum.

One way or another we're going to get this thing dealt with.
