To be honest, calling SpongeBob "family-friendly" is way too big of a stretch.

Yeah...Spongebob ain't THAT family-friendly, I mean if you look back on some creepypastas about Spongebob like...Squidward's Suicide (a classic for sure), Spongebob Bootleg Episode (which is....well), Spongecry.avi (That's a real name of the creepypasta, I ain't joking here...and April Fools is over), Spongebob: Wormy's Predecessor (Yes...a creepypasta about Wormy, I swear this creepypasta is real...look it up if you don't believe me, I can wait) and Plankton got Served (Which if i'm not mistaken is the original name for One Course Meal)

but for real spongebob got pretty dark at times, one of the first episodes had spongebob and patrick slowly dying in sandy's treedome
