  2. As I said you in my WIP thread, I'm working in some new Neo Geo Pocket chars for MUGEN, one of them is Ukyo Tachibana from the second Samurai Shodown for NGPC (port of SS64-2). But when I was playing the game and ripping his sprites, I noticed the beautiful 8-bit stages made for this game, so I adapted the first stage for MUGEN, in both Day (round 1) and Night (round 2 & 3) versions. Also, these are the first stages I made since years, I think the last one was in... 2017 maybe?? I say 2012 without the Cybaster's Stage Maker, nevermind XD Two simple but beautiful 8-bit stages for your NES/Pocket/Chibi/8-bit characters.   4. Sakura (CvS2 Reimagining) Sakura is a young, hard working and energetic high school girl who enjoys delving into the world of street fighting. She first got interested in street fighting when she watched the first World Warrior Tournament (Street Fighter 1) at a young age, and was particularly interested in watching one red haired karateka from Japan named Ryu. After watching him defeat Sagat, and not being concerned about the fact that Ryu almost killed Sagat, she treated him as a childhood hero. She would find Ryu, and defeat him, though Ryu most likely held back. Sakura asked if Ryu could train her, but Ryu declined, saying he still has a lot to learn about himself. He did let Sakura take a picture with him to make up for it though. Ever since then, she's constantly trained, making friends and sparking rivalries along the way. Sakura's move-set is similar to the average shoto. Her moves do not differ much from her appearance in CvS2, and retains the same BnB (Bread and Butter) combos, however with her EX moves, she can extend these combos and they can do a lot more damage, with EX Shouoken and EX Shunpuukyaku being methods to get a guaranteed Custom Combo BnB, however it does less damage than if the Custom Combo was done stand alone. Sakura also has her Dark Sakura mode from Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, which overall doesn't alter too much. She gains the Sakura Senkuu, aka the Demon Warp, and also has the Raging Demon, which replaces her level 3 Tag Team super. She also loses the level 2 Double Shinkuu Hadouken super, but in return has more powerful attacks and has the EX Shouoken as a normal special, albeit slightly nerfed since it's not an EX move.   5. Here's a simple character that I did out of boredom while I was developing IDW. They're quite easy to beat even on the hardest difficulty. Though, the same can't be said for the AI (some of them, at least). AI only. Info: Dinergates, a common enemy unit from Girls Frontline, swarm the battlefield with relentless numbers! They'll chew through anything in their path... for a while and then move along. (just to be fair) While they only move in one direction, they'll keep coming until you deplete their life bar and that can be done by taking them out one by one. How to beat them: Just hit them. Hit them until they go down. Medium to strong basic attacks are recommended. Their bite will interrupt hyper attacks so if said hyper attack has a long startup time, don't bother. Note: The higher the palette, the faster they become and they get tougher to kill. Also, they can't be timed out. You have to keep killing them until their life bar runs out to beat them.   9. Dictator is a man who wants to rule the world with an iron fist, and his localized name certainly does reflect his actions and mannerisms. If you're form the U.S, then you may have first known him by M. Bison, and if you're from Japan, then you would have first known him by Vega. The reason why his name is different is very famous yet not so known. Look it up if you don't know. Dictator replaced Sagat as the main boss of Street Fighter. He's still the main bad guy even today in Street Fighter 5, though he's dropped and regained that role several times along the way. He's remembered as a very difficult fighting game boss, but certainly not the hardest, that title belongs to Shao Kahn. His move-set is just very annoying, with moves like the Psycho Crusher and the dreaded sliding kick being major quarter gobblers back in the arcades. His overall difficulty has been more toned down later down the line, but he's still a very strong character, with games like CvS2 and SF4 being one of his strongest incarnations. Game-play wise, Dictator doesn't differ much from his CvS2 counterpart. His moves function the same, with the exception of the Psycho Impact, aka his alpha counter. It is now a command grab instead of a 2 hit physical attack. His combos aren't too long either. EX Attacks also have different properties, like the EX Scissor Kick being a way to extend combos, and the EX Psycho Crusher being a grab and acts like Raiden's Thunder Fly from Mortal Kombat. However, Dictator heavily relies on one mechanic: Psycho Aura. There is a lot going on with Psycho Aura, so I have a text file in Dictator's character folder that describes the mechanic in detail. Once you understand how it works and how to properly use it, you understand a very large part of Dictator's game-play. His AI is also very brutal, in a weird way. His combos and pokes are brain-dead simple, but his very knowledgeable usage of them makes him a pretty decent challenge, but you know, setting the difficulty to easy 1 also helps out a lot. Fausto's words - Due to MUGEN limitations, Vega's claw and mask may disappear during custom states. There is a tutorial for this in the char folder. - Due to the way it's programmed, Vega may not look good during custom states that use rotations or resizing in conjunction with standard animations. - To detect "beautiful" or "ugly" chars, Vega uses the optional Messatsu animations. Depending on the author of the char, this can lead to curious cases.

CLONE KOA version KONGPLETA Welcome everybody, it's been a while since I've made anything, but I think it's time to rectify this: Introducing Clone Koa by jade_midori, one of the few characters from back then that I would say put me in the right direction, I thought I would change one or two or maybe a billion few aspects of her that were bugging me for a long while, so here you go. For those who are not aware, Clone Koa is an experiment from way back in the day on trying to make a Clayfighter 63 1/3 esque character, however I wasn't able to get myself to get super bad on purpose that hard (trust me, you REALLY have to make it super jank in order to be true to that game), eventually the focus really shifted and only kept the sounds Clayfighter, everything else evolved into a mishmash of DKC content and just some wacky silly moves from time to time off of the original Koakuma by SoM, as of recent, she's acquired cues from the King of Fighters series, while still keeping old aspects that were true to the character such as Chain Combos, limited juggling, parrying, fatalities, Normal -> Special -> Super chaining, etc. It sounds super silly, but it's really mellow in the grand scheme of things. Some of the changes (off of the readme): There's quite more and honestly you should find out on your own! Note, these changes have been accumulative and I've been really bad at keeping track, Charge B, F + P for example has projectile invuln for M and H and L has full invuln till the recovery, and QCB P has no projectile invuln of any kind anymore. Some screenshots, though they don't quite match the product, they were kinda hard to get: Note: There's no AI I'm too lasssssssssy, be sure to read the "Provisional Readme" to get the most out of this char.   20. I originally wanted to make something I can just slap in IKEMEN GO and edit accordingly, so I didn't exactly go all out here. It combines elements from earlier screenpacks and erased works in progress I had going on. -A few things I need to get out of the way- 1. I am fully aware that 960x720 isn't a standardized size, but I am also fully aware that I am not the first person to make screnpacks or lifebars for that specific resolution (shoutout to Devon). 2. No, I won't reduce it to 640x480. There are ways around it that will actually let you do that (Though that kind of only applies to MUGEN 1.1). 3. Because of the native resolution of both the screnpack and lifebars, it would make no sense whatsoever to port to WinMUGEN without downscaling all assets. -Known Issues- 1. Quick Continue fonts need adjusting badly (IKEMEN GO) -Download (MUGEN 1.0)- MEGA Link Mediafire Link -Download (IKEMEN GO)- MEGA Link Mediafire Link -Install (MUGEN 1.0)- Simply extract the contents of the 7z file into your MUGEN folder and edit mugen.cfg for motif to read "data/PJMUGEN2.8SP/system.def". Another 2ho by me and one of the main characters herself, I plan to make Reimu lean towards a hybrid of zoner/rushdown whose Unique Ability involves the Hakurei Barrier (to which I still have yet to implement). With something that versatile and effective, she'll compensate by having relatively below average damage output compared to what is standard for Generation 1. For the record, this will be exactly the last WIP in line I'll be doing for a while as I'll go on break, making periodic updates while working on my attempt in an all Nep Heart compilation with the ambition of taking them for eventual online play.

  25. You know, I'm very busy with MUGEN (and other stuff like Cosplay and Facebook and Discord and stuff) so I get me occupied and not losing my head because of the lockdown, so I was thinking... I don't make much stages, and I released just a few of them. So why not to release the few unreleased stuff I have already? Well, I made various stages I got in my PC I never released before, just made for my own entertainment (since I'm not good making them) and you probably have seen various of them in my screenshots for my chars. But these days I was thinking to make a better use of them by releasing them so you can play with them too Don't expect awesome stuff, all are simple stages with no animations or super jumps, mostly made by Cybaster's stage maker since I was bored and just made them XD but maybe you could like them too, who knows Yie-Ar Kung Fu - Stage 1 When I was playing this in my NES emulator one day, I thought it could be a good idea for a MUGEN stage, so I did it :P it's scaled so you can play as in the game's arena instead of a simple 320x240 square :P MM1 Cutman Stage A separate project I made from MM boss stages (don't remember if I did it before or after those stages), it's a recreation of one of the zones of Cutman's stage from the very first NES game. In the moment I wanted to be animated, with Megaman passing the stage and those annoying flying robots after him, but I got lazy and never did them Empty Valley As with some of my chars, I usually collect sheets from sprite pages and later I converted to MUGEN just for fun. This is one of them, a stage from DBZ Supersonic Warriors that I converted into a loooooong stage just because I wanted to XD Meteor Storm A stage I tried to make from Mortal Kombat Armageddon, it's from a static image so don't expect the "meteor storm" seen in the game or other anims... oh, and don't expect HD/3D/other stuff here, it was made for my DOSM originally My dog Sonny A homage to my Sonny (aka Santino), a golden retriever dog I got with my ex-wife (but lived in ex-mother-in-law's house). Technically it was from her, but I also adopted as mine and was my favourite mascot, so I took that photo and I made him as a stage (with double jump) in 2012. Sadly he passed away few months after I got separated (in 2019, he had 13yo), but at least I got this playable memory of him. Originally called as "Juguetes" (Toys in Spanish) since chars are seen like living toys playing around Sonny 27F Series A bunch of static photos converted into stages in 2010 for the big 2010 Earthquake happened here in my country Chile. It was supposed to be released in that year as a king of homage to this Chilean catastrophe, but I only released one of them and for a limited time. Now, you'll get all of them in one pack ;) Since these were made for fun and just for me, don't expect complicated stuff like parallax, super jump (except in some of them XD), music, animations or even a M1.0 special def (but they're also compatible BTW). Just don't use them in M1.1, they'll probably screw up thanks to the zoom stuff, but in M1.0 could run well AFAIK. Forget the arrow, go to Stages section, bro
