  4. Uncle Joel and Bulk Bogan released by Brergrsart (12-28-17) (Comments) Bulk Bogan A Character from Joel's HardTime streams. He was created for Vargskelethor's Hardcore Friday Super Metal Almost Criminally Violent Ultra Swedish Meatball Royal Rumble MASSACRE!. He's an edit I made from Mass's Hawk. The original moveset and AI is largely the same, but modified slightly to be less hyper aggressive. In addition to his original moveset, Bulk Bogan is given various items from HardTime to use as weapons, as well as his sanity mechanic that makes him go berserk when at full meter. Instead of losing control of the character while it wildy attacks, he gains increased damage and """super armor,""" as well as some proprieties in his items being changed. Uncle Joel I have been a big fan of Joel from Vinsauce for a while now. I've been watching his streams for a few years, and can proudly say I was there for when he discovered Grand Dad. After seeing his MUGEN streams, I thought it'd be cool if someone made a character based on Joel and put him in a game, but never really started on it since I didn't have enough faith in my abilities. Fast forward to July of 2017 and the desire to create him comes back. I don't remember what exactly spurred me to finally work on him again, but when I saw the sprites of Michael Roa Valdamjong from Melty Blood, I instantly thought to myself: "That's Joel!" And so, the project began. Uncle Joel is designed to be the main character of Vargskelethor's Hardcore Friday Super Metal Almost Criminally Violent Ultra Swedish Meatball Royal Rumble MASSACRE! While I completed this game months ago, I kept it unreleased in hope that Joel would play it on stream and that I would release it the day of the stream. However, I haven't gotten a reply regarding the game yet, so here he is. (The game can be found here) Uncle Joel was designed to be a shotoclone that was also in his own way unique. So that way Joel could instantly pick up his controls and be comfortable with playing as him. All of his attacks are based off moments from his streams, and he has special interactions with certain characters that are frequently mentioned/shown on stream.   12. Master Mecha Sonic V1 It's been a long while ever since I released an edit (not really). I've been just making status updates of my updated characters. Well, this time it's for real. Introducing.... MASTER MECHA SONIC!! That;s right! For the past days I edited Master Mecha sonic to make him better and tougher (not really, again). Here's what I did for this edit: (9/26/2017): Initial release....but was announced on Sept. 29 - Fixed the glitches and bugs in some of the specials. - Did a little of guarding AI and recovery AI work... - Fixed a LOT of explods and made it, more realistic.... - Added some teleporting sounds to some of the hypers. - Adjusted hitboxes and clsns for EVERY animations (seriously.....?) - Added adjustments to the flying code. - Added new Battle portrait, and a victory portrait. - Added parries to telportation and stuff. - Made him a tiny bit buffed. (NOT) Enjoy this edit and download is right below the video! BTW, the version of mecha sonic is the old version cause I made the edit after I made the video.   14. Godzillen, but pretty much based on Shin Godzilla. Is extremely slow and heavy, and rather damaging, but attacks drain heat, and she completely freezes up if fully cooled down. To tell you the truth, Punky remastered might be one of the best versions I created throughout my M.U.G.E.N career! Remember my first version of Punky? Well, to me I think I find the old version very poorly made and I wanted to do something about that regardless. So, I made a new version from scratch.   19. If old habits die hard... then consider this my death, as my habits may as well be my life by this point. Superoverlord Meep, one of my more... notorious edits. Another one of my old low quality attempts at self-insertion. And yet, I noticed something... It was cheap. Really cheap. So cheap, in fact, that given enough time it can whittle down and kill even Rare Akuma. For me, though, I decided that 1. I needed an exercise in coding and 2. that if it was going to be cheap, it was going to be CHEAP. Not through sheer brute force, but through code. There are no "null states" in this, so it won't beat anything that doesn't have a hitbox (in fact, it's coded to crash the game if it loses somehow), but it can beat most garden-variety cheap characters. If you're hoping for a well-balanced, well thought out character that takes skill of any kind to use, look elsewhere. If, however, you find yourself needing something to kill a cheap character, consider taking a look at this, my latest experiment into cheap-character creation. And yes, I'm aware there are characters that can likely very easily beat this one.   22. These are edits of Tachi's Geno and Mallow. When these were originally released, they were very cheap and had poorly ripped sound effects and Ironcommando bashed these. They've since been updated and are now less cheap, but they still had poorly ripped sound effects. I replaced most of the poorly ripped sound effects with clean rips but only those where it's noticable that there's still BGM or something else on the SFX, because there were no SMRPG SFX on Sounds Resource I had to download the SFX in SCP format and had to convert them to WAV, also it wasn't clear which number was which sound so I had to keep browsing through almost 200 SFX. I also changed the button layout to A, B, C (it was originally X, Y, A which was very awkward), added victory quotes and made some other changes. The edits also include new palettes by GazpachoMasterX. But yeah, here's the original stage in Asura Blade (Image belongs to Arcade-Museum.com): Converted to M.U.G.E.N., especially suited for those who could leap over skyscrapers: [CHARS USED IN SCREENCAPS: Ryo Sakazaki (MVC Style) by -Whiplash- and Son Gohan by Kenshiro99 (you can actually find these characters on the Guild!)] . . .:.::.:. . . (Yes, I know that you see the left statue is a pixel off. Ya better ignore it til next update comes) So, anyways I wanted to make this stage for MUGEN when I saw Cenobite had already done so. And at first, this was going to be a simple super jump edit. I had already extended the graphics for the front-most statues in the game, and edited the background for some aerial rave action, but then I went to see if there were any more sprites to rip from Asura Blade for this stage. When I was messing with the cheats to view anymore of the stage, I realized that the MUGEN version was pretty small, although it is still a nice stage conversion. I decided to adjust the stage's graphics and boundaries of the stage to resemble its source game counterpart a bit more, and there you have it! You skipped that, huh? I understand. I see how it is... You want a video? Here it is (bruh, I kno I suck): Like some other release, this one has six goddang versions, three suited for WinMUGEN, the rest suited for MUGEN 1.0+. What's included in the stage pack (and not shown in the video) is a 'Fine Tuned' version where the boundhigh, floortension and tension values have been left untouched, although the stage has been widened, if you don't feeling like fighting around in a stage suited for Super Jumpers. Are there two different themes for this stage? You betcha, one with two variations and the other one having three variations! Some of them utilize MUGEN 1.1's music looping ability, and others are more 'atmospheric.'   24. Been tinkered with and 'countlessly' tested since late February, I bring you my newest stage! [CHARS USED IN SCREENCAPS: Sakura (MVC Style) and Karin (MVC Style) are both by Beximus] And of course, it contains super jump! Quite a challenge to make, considering this stage is my first foray into learning BGCtrls and the like. And the water just LOVED to glitch up. Felt like my brain wanted to EXPLODE See the stage in action (sorry for the crappy FPS) (yo wut): Included in the RAR file are two versions, one for WinM.U.G.E.N., and the other for M.U.G.E.N. 1.0+. There are two different songs, each with four different variations. Certain versions of the tunes accommodates M.U.G.E.N. 1.0+'s ability to loop music, and others contain ocean waves within the music if you want a bit of some atmosphere.
