  2. Mega Man Robot Master Mayhem - All Throws - version 3.1

     

     

    Preview of all throws (normal, special and hypers) of the Mega Man Robot Master Mayhem project, including some of the new characters.

    Now all characters have at least 2 throws. And several old throws have been changed. It is not the final version, as it will still be reviewed.

    The game will be updated this year, stay tuned.

     

  3. To end a bad year with something good, here is a character that was asked of me a lot: NIGHTWING.

    A little of history:
    This was a bad year for many people and, for me, it was a nightmare, with many complications in my personal life, including health. Thanks to that, I couldn't release something that people were expecting (Avengers United Battle Force) so I thought of something that was as expected.

    This is my way of thanking everyone who has supported me over these 22 years. It is only thanks to you that I am still here.

     

    About the character...

     

     

    He plays on a MVC-esque gameplay, has a complex follow-up system on his QCF+K Crescent Kick (with different options) and has a mode change, where you can choose from 3 different modes, each one with a new move: normal, spark and staff modes.

     

    and updates:
    This is version 1.0 of it. There are still things I want to put into it, but I decided not to do that now. And why did I do that? Because I know that this character will be "edited" in several versions SHIN GOD EVIL OROCHI, "Pots", "OMFG HD MUGEN" and other things ...

    So updating this character is not on my priority list, for the reasons above.

     

    There will probably be bugs, as it was made on a template that I had never worked on (Nestor's CAPCOM FIGHTING ALL-STARS). If you find one, report it so I can fix it.

    Each Form has unique characteristics:

    Form 1 - Can fly, being able to move freely on the screen up to a certain height. It has an auto dodge, if the player is positioned just below it.

    Form 2 - It has two areas that can be adjusted - lower (body) and upper (cockpit). Attacks in the lower area do no damage to it - you must concentrate the attacks in the cockpit.

     

    ====| WARNING | ====

    This character is a boss, and was not meant to be controlled by humans.
    Therefore, it can be quite unbalanced when used by humans.

    Since its a boss char, any custom state move (such grabs and others) won't hit it.
    Plus, this char can't block - This works all both forms.

    This character has a super armor code which prevents fast multiple hits,
    rendering him invulnerable for a short time.
    It is not a bug, it is intentional - to avoid very easy combos against it, as it is a giant collision box.

  5. Yeah, a blast from the past!

    Due to time issues, we will not release the RMM update this year. So, so that the commemoration of my 20th anniversary of Mugen wasn't going blank, I decided to release update of some characters that were part of an old project: Street Fighter Spec Ops

    =============[HISTORY]===============

     

    For those unfamiliar, Street Fighter Spec Ops was a complete game project about the world of Street Fighter, but set in an alternative and chaotic timeline, which was started back in 2002. In this timeline, the vast majority of characters use other codenames, while others have a completely different origin.

     


    Bison (dictator) was absent in action and it was rumored that Shadoloo now had a new leader, but no one knew who it was.

    The project had some trademarks:
    - High difficulty (with some artificial intelligences being completely abusive)
    - Several special attacks (each character has around 20 to 30 moves)
    - HIGH damage, as we had in SF2.

    The game was known to have very loose (or rather broken in some cases) gameplay and bugs were made which were later fixed.

    =============[NOTE]===============
    As much as the content today has been upgraded and many bugs have been fixed, some things have remained to stay true to the original design. He became known for it, so I can't take his identity off. I constantly get comments from people saying that Spec Ops was how they met Mugen and was part of their childhood, which makes me happy - Even with the mistakes 🙂

    There is nothing to "fix" (excluding possible bugs), so there is no need to cite the high damage or AI in the feedbacks, as they are intentional and will remain that way. All feedback is welcome!

     

    The character this time is Mexican Typhoon.
    He has some new special moves, new hyper moves and some other stuff.

  6. Here is a preview of Snake Man update for the Mega Man Robot Master Mayhem project. 

     

     

    As I said at community, I have good and bad news.

    Good news: Snake Man update is done, finally. It was the hardest character to update, since all of his previous effects used CVS-like transparent effects but the results are awesome! 

    Bad news: We won't be able to release the update in December 30th 😞

    Yeah, that suck but we (me, mostly) need more time to polish some stuff and I don't want to release something which can looks rushed, incomplete. 

    The release date was moved to 30-01-2020.

    This decision was very heavy for me, as this project would mark the commemoration of my 20 years of mugen and now the date will pass without my release, but unfortunately it had to be made. 

    I'm very upset about this, but I asked myself to postpone the date.

    Sorry guys 😞

    But in the end, I think the result will worth the wait and you will be enjoying a better product. 

    Also, I wanna say THANK YOU to everyone who still supports my work, after all those years.

    Here is a Bass preview, finally. First I show all his hyper moves, then an AI battle. Bass doesn't have a vicious AI like some other characters *cough* Shadow Man *cough*.

    Also, now he has brand new custom voices, done by my friend Psykai.

    Bass will be available on the next RMM release, in december 2019

  9. CHANGES FOR THE VERSION 3.0

     

    1- NEW EFFECTS

     

    I've been working since last year - the new effects for the project Mega Man - Robot Master Mayhem.

    No more too bright effects and heavy SFF - now we are back to the roots of MVC1, with other different games on the mix. I've been gathering and testing new effects and I liked the result.

    Also, some hypers on Axl were changed, to give him more dramatic feeling.

    The next version will be released in December 19. Are you ready?

     

     

     

    2 - NEW CHARACTERS

    We will have some new playable characters for that version, which includes a fan favorite - PHARAOH MAN.

  10. Mega Man - Robot Master Mayhem

    Unlike the normal Mega Man games, this is a fighting game in versus style, highly influenced by games like Marvel vs. Capcom.
     

    The game includes, for the last version (2.5.1)

    • 22 playable characters, including names like Mega Man, Proto Man, Snake Man, Metal Man, Enker, Quint and others.

    • Several classic bosses of the series, such as Yellow Devil, Hyper Storm H and others

    • Power Sets: Almost all characters, except some cases explained in game history, have the ability to choose from 6 different types of powers / weapons, in addition to special attacks

    • History, with introduction and end, for each character

    • Unique stages for each character, with its characteristic soundtrack
     

    Take control of your favorite Megaman characters to stop the Evil Dr. Wily from conquering the Earth.

  11. And finally: Here is a preview of Nightwing's mode change.


    He has 3 different mode - each one with different damage, effects and moves

     

    • MODE A - Normal Batons
    Unlocks Reversal Baton - can revert attacks from different types (aerial, standing, crouch)

     

    • MODE B - Electric Batons
    Does more damage, has electric properties na unlock Electric Spark

     

    • MODE C - Staff mode
    Changes all basic and punch animations, has more reach and unlock Projectile Reflection.

     

    This is a WIP and somethings can be changed on the final product.

    He was originally coded to the RMM project and has no power set.

    Hyper Storm H (ハイパーストームH Haipā Sutōmu H) is a Robot Masterfrom Mega Man: The Wily Wars based on Zhu Bajie, a character from the Chinese novel Journey to the West. He is the strongest of the three members of the Genesis Unit, but is easily fooled. He's laid back and avoids conflicts between Buster Rod G and Mega Water S. He is one of the largest Robot Masters and the only one to have two energy gauges.
