About Me

Hello, there! Welcome to my profile, for whatever reason happens to bring you here. Essentially, I'm just some flibbertigibbet on the internet that mostly talks about B-Movies, poor quality MUGEN characters, and occasionally something Half-Life related.

I put my massive rambling about how I got back into MUGEN in the spoiler below so it doesn't clutter everything up. I might try and truncate it all later.

Spoiler

I started playing with the MUGEN engine around 2008, which basically started out with me downloading a bunch of random crap, and later became a bigger roster full of even more crap. I come from the period of time where what was referred in the day as "Retard Bashing" ("Retard" referred to a bad character in those days, but it probably wouldn't exactly fly now), which were basically just videos of people fighting characters that were on the lower scale of quality.

I grew interested in having these characters - not necessarily just because they were bad, but not because I thought they were good either. I don't really know what it was. But anyways, after many years (that were mainly spent in the wretched GMod and SC communities), I grew nostalgic for MUGEN, so I decided to return to it (somewhere around July 2018). However, I didn't have any of my old files and ended up having to start all over.

It was at this point when I realized how many of the files I used to have at the time (which were rare even back then) were completely gone from the internet. ESnips went under, so everything there is gone. Almost everything old that was from 4shared stopped being hosted. Most of the old MediaFire links were purged. And the WBAC Machine for dead websites has always been hit or miss.

Eventually though, I miraculously dug up an old backup HD and ended up re-obtaining all of my old content. Since then, I have been actively trying to share it with others, having learned not to take it for granted - even if I'm probably the only one who will even use those files. So, that's my massive wall of text that probably wasn't even necessary. I mean, who on Earth would even read this nonsense?
